Are forklifts and cranes the same machine?

In fact, these two kinds of mechanical equipment do not belong to the same kind,  let's take a look at the differences between them, to better identify them:  

 The most important feature of forklift is the double fork structure.  

  The lift function of the forklift is raised from below.

 Crane is a kind of machinery which can lift vertically and move horizontally within a certain range. 

 Cranes are usually used to manage large, heavy loads of all kinds.  Forklifts are basically goods transport, usually using pallets or other platforms for easy handling.  The high capacity loads of cranes mean that in some cases they can move large amounts of heavy material quickly more efficiently than forklifts.  

 Cranes usually carry heavier loads than forklifts.  The powerful hydraulic arms on the crane can lift and maneuver many tons of cargo at a time and reposition them on site.  

 Forklifts are more commonly used in indoor environments to manage the movement of commercial goods and materials.  Heavy-duty forklifts can lift very heavy loads, but handling environments and operational requirements vary greatly.

 Crane requirements for the environment is relatively loose, can be used in multi-terrain environment.

 Crane functions include quite a number of different possible options.  The crane arm can be added with many different types of equipment to meet specific lifting tasks.
